MMP Consultancy is seeking a Security Officer on behalf of an College based in near Northampton. The vacancy is a permanent opportunity. The working hours for the 8am - 8pm and 8pm to 8am (4 x 12 hour shifts, 4 days on/4 days off)

You will provide a visible security presence across the site at all times.

Both shifts will monitor our CCTV network and ensure that appropriate action is taken in the event of any incident occurring. During the day you will coordinate regular patrols across the site ensuring you are visible and accessible to all users of the site. This will be especially relevant over key periods such as lunch time and beginning/end of the student day. You will work closely with our on-site Student Welfare team to safeguard all our students and especially our resident students who live on site.

You must hold a SIA Door Supervision or SIA Security Guarding licence. Ideally you will also hold a SIA CTV Licence (although training can be provided if required). In order to cover the site effectively you should be able to drive and ideally hold a clean driving licence. You will have excellent problem solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative while taking a proactive approach to your role. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to positively represent the College to all stakeholders and clients.

This role involves joint responsibility for managing a team of 7 Porters so experience in porter management is essential. It is paying £31,000 per annum with a range of benefits.

Damp & Mould Project Manager

£350 - £400 per day

Our client is seeking for a new Damp & Mould Project Manager to join an existing Damp and Mould Task Force to respond swiftly and effectively to reports of damp and mould in its homes. Our client need a skilled and experienced manager to establish and lead the Task Force. Ideally you will have experience of managing in a local authority housing setting, and will have a good understanding of the challenges facing social landlords in responding effectively to instances of damp and mould. An asset/property maintenance background would also be helpful, but not essential. The post will report into the Assistant Director of Housing Assets.

This post would be paying between £350 - £400 Per Day.

Electrician

A great opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a Housing Association based in Portishead on a permanent basis paying a salary of £38,495 per annum with a van and fuel card supplied. This role would be covering North Somerset and Bristol. This role will be delivering works such as rewires, remedial works, electrical installations, test and inspections and day to day responsive repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties.

Primary Job Function:

  • You will be responsible for the leadership and management of our end-to-end Landlord Cyclical Compliance Programme.
  • You will lead in the management and successful ongoing development of a process that will ensure that the organisation maintains 100% compliance in respect of property functions: including Fire, Gas, Electricity, Legionella, Asbestos, and LOLER.
  • You will be managing relationships with both inhouse colleagues and external contractors to ensure safe and timely delivery of our Landlord Health and Safety Compliance.

As a Scheduler, you will liaise with customers, contractors, and other housing services staff to ensure access to annual safety checks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining all tasks, including raising jobs, requisitions, follow-on, and sub-contractor works.
* Answering phones, emails, and CRM cases, scheduling and confirming appointments
