Job Description

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Repairs Coordinator on a temporary basis working for a Local Authority based in Bristol.

To be responsible for scheduling repairs and tasks to colleagues out on site including allocating repairs and ensuring tenants are kept informed of any delays or changes to their repair appointments and rearranging as necessary.

This will be a temporary position paying £17.56 per hour Umbrella

Duties:

* Receive and respond to customer enquiries, in line with council policies and procedures always providing excellent customer service.
* To accurately raise reported repairs and prioritise in line with agreed timescales, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
* Ensure that repair requests are allocated, planned, and scheduled effectively to maximise the use of resources and completed "right first-time".
* Pro-actively monitor the progression of allocated jobs throughout the day and communicating with operatives, surveyors, and customers to ensure the timely completion of works.
* Ensure operatives have acceptably completed repairs using their mobile devices and give feedback to trade managers and supervisors if there are any issues.
* Provide information, advice and guidance to customers, contractors & colleagues who have repairs enquiries.
* Make outbound contact to customers as required and make enquiries on behalf of customers and arrange appointments.
* To effectively and appropriately liaise with contractors.

    MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit to a Housing Compliance Manager Lead join a fantastic Local Authority based in Bristol on a temporary contract.

    To lead a team responsible for sponsoring, monitoring and reporting the performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, including the Social Housing Regulator. The reporting activities will include generating and supporting narrative relating to the 'Big Six' housing compliance areas including electrical, water, gas, fire, asbestos, and lifts.

    This is a temporary position paying £28.79 an hour Umbrella.

    Duties:

    * Lead the generation of the monthly and annual compliance performance reports, plus supporting narrative and audit trail. The compliance areas include gas, electricity, water, fire, asbestos, and lifts.
    * Support the presentation of the monthly and annual compliance performance report to Councillor, Executive members, and Regulator.
    * Ensure the compliance performance reports are accurate and the scope of the testing aligns with the legal requirements.
    * Lead the response to any internal or external questions about the housing compliance performance.
    * Provide sponsorship for the compliance related policies and associated Standard Operating Procedures. You will commission 'Subject Matter Experts' to assure these documents and arrange for audits to ensure they are being followed.
    * Commission and maintain analysis and dashboard to generate the performance statistics and validate the results.
    * Project manage the delivery and assurance of the annual compliance performance reports. This includes establishing clear Roles and Responsibilities, undertaking monthly 1-2-1's and the recruitment of new staff members.
    * Maintain a network of stakeholders across the service and with partners to enable the compliance tests and reporting to be delivered. The stakeholder maintenance will include communications to ensure the importance and status of compliance is understood across the organisation.
    * Manage and lead a team of technical staff in a way that maximises their productivity and growth.
    * Establish the annual compliance testing budget working with the Delivery teams. The budget will need to enable the required testing to be undertaken.
    * Explore and implement opportunities to reduce the cost of delivering the compliance function through different working practices or the use of technology.
