Job Description

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Contract Manager on behalf of an FM Company to be based in Essex. Occasional travel to Cumbria is required, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.

You will play a crucial role in delivering effective and profitable M&E facilities management services in accordance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints for the NHS clients.

The salary is £55,000 per annum plus a £4,4000 car allowance. The candidate will ideally start as soon as possible and be based in the Essex and be within drivable distance to sites in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:


* Deliver hard FM services, ensuring health, safety, quality, and contractual performance.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, and local codes of practice.
* Proactively audit and manage contractual compliance, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Attend client contract monitoring meetings and present service delivery performance.

Relevant H&S qualification/training:


* Experience in delivering continuous improvement programmes.
* Extensive experience on PFI contracts.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and manage programmes.
* Budget management experience
* Proficient in interpreting contractual documentation and managing client relationships.
* UK Driving Licence
* AP or RP in Water or Electrical

    MMP Consultancy is seeking two engineers, one to work shift hours 4 on 4 off and one to work 8-4 to work in central London for a private hospital. These are temp to perm contracts with an hourly rate of £26.33ph umbrella.

    In this role, they will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and engineering tasks, both reactive and planned, across a variety of systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing. They will ensure all work is completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support in relevant disciplines and act as a Competent & Authorised Person when required
    • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes and materials
    • Perform fault identification and rectification on systems and equipment
    • Ensure high standards of maintenance and housekeeping across all plant and equipment
    • Communicate effectively with the Estates team, ensuring tasks are completed within SLAs
    • Escort contractors and assist with shift handovers

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Full Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (Mechanical/Electrical)
    • C&G Level 3 qualification or equivalent
    • Previous experience with M&E systems and CAFM systems
    • CSCS or relevant trade card
    • HTM and AP qualifications desirable

    The post holder will work as part of the Housing Operations Team - Property and be responsible for the technical service provision for the Housing Service in accordance with the our clients agreed policies, procedures and working practices, delivering a first class service that is value for money and customer focused.
    * To work as part of the Housing Operations Team - Property dealing with all aspects of void property inspection, mutual exchanges, insurance claims, structural diagnosis, building defects, property adaptations and management, major works to properties, assisting with the delivery of the Choice Based Lettings Scheme in relation to Accompanied Viewings and Routine Inspections of properties.
    * To support the team in planning budgets, identifying efficiencies in response and planned works and to ensure there is a robust method of reporting that is being adhered to.
    * To represent Housing Operations - Property whilst keeping a good relationship with other council departments and elected councillors and with work colleges.
