* Prepare periodic financial statements, conduct budgetary review, and develop financial forecasts to enable effective financial planning and control.
* Offer guidance and expertise to management regarding financial aspects of productivity, stock holding, sales and the introduction of new products, driving informed business decisions.

MMP Consultancy are seeking an Accounts Apprentice to join our client in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, based in Hertford.
Responsibilities:
· Reporting to the Financial Accountant.
· You will develop accountancy skills in double-entry bookkeeping and basic costing, as well as an understanding of purchase, sales and general ledgers.
· Learn to use accounting software and to develop the professional skills and behaviours needed to contribute effectively to the workplace.
· Elements of job costing and exposure to Management Accounting
· Using accounting software.
· Processing invoices for Sales and Purchase Ledger.
· Developing skills within house training and college support within the areas of bespoke tax planning, asset protection, tax investigation resolution, and specialist accountancy.
· General administration tasks such as handling email queries, managing post, and answering telephone calls.
