MMP Consultancy is currently recruiting for a BAND 7 Mechanical Estates Officer role on behalf of a well-established NHS Trust based in South-West London on a TEMP / PERM contract.

Pay: BAND 7 - £33.00 PA

£49,178 to £55,492 a year pa. Inclusive of HCAS - (depending on experience)

Responsible to: Head of Estates

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective management of the Planned, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services to Kingston Hospital Foundation Trust (KHFT). Ensure accurate records and oversight and effective planning of all activities to ensure compliance (statutory and non-statutory) and excellent customer care.
  • Responsible for managing budgetary allocation in terms of maintenance, ensuring it is effectively committed and not exceeded.
  • Responsible for the Performance Management of External Maintenance Providers and ensuring that agreed action plans are monitored & reported. Ensure Contract Services and Asset schedules are correct and up to date.
  • Responsible for the budgetary control of Staff Labour, Materials, and Contracts, with the grades revenue signatory delegation as per Trust Standing Financial Instructions.

Requirements:

  • Incorporated-level Engineer or equivalent Professional membership of a relevant professional body - Mechanical & Electrical Engineers Institutes (IMechE, CIBSE), IHEEM or the Institute of Marine Engineers
  • HND M&E Engineering or Building Services or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience at the management level to include management of a directly employed labour force and Estates/Engineering/Building Contracts.

    MMP Consultancy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a school in Croydon on a permanent, part-time basis. This role offers the perfect opportunity for those seeking a term-time only position, giving you the school holidays off.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of works programmes. Working closely with Contract Managers you will assist in resident consultation and involvement.

    Responsibilities:
    * Assisting in the management of resident consultation and involvement in planned works programmes, minimising disruption to residents whilst helping to ensure that the programme does not fall behind schedule and costs remain within budget
    * Developing and delivering effective communication with residents, liaising closely with contractor staff to assist in the smooth running of the programmes and the ongoing building management
