Job Description
MMP Consultancy is seeking two engineers, one to work shift hours 4 on 4 off and one to work 8-4 to work in central London for a private hospital. These are temp to perm contracts with an hourly rate of £26.33ph umbrella.
In this role, they will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and engineering tasks, both reactive and planned, across a variety of systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing. They will ensure all work is completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support in relevant disciplines and act as a Competent & Authorised Person when required
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for quotes and materials
- Perform fault identification and rectification on systems and equipment
- Ensure high standards of maintenance and housekeeping across all plant and equipment
- Communicate effectively with the Estates team, ensuring tasks are completed within SLAs
- Escort contractors and assist with shift handovers
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (Mechanical/Electrical)
- C&G Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience with M&E systems and CAFM systems
- CSCS or relevant trade card
- HTM and AP qualifications desirable
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Ability to work in a healthcare environment and adhere to safeguarding procedures

Multi Shift Engineer
MMP Consultancy is seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a private hospital in Central London. The role involves carrying out installation, maintenance, and project tasks related to reactive, planned, and corrective works.
They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building plant, systems, and equipment, maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. Candidates will ideally be multi-skilled on mechanical and electrical but with a mechanical bias.
The rate of pay is £26.33ph via an umbrella company, over a 44-hour working week, which is an estimated take home inclusive of holiday pay of £793 per week. The working hours will be 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am working days and nights, 4 on 4 off.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Provide technical support, including Competent & Authorised Person duties.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, obtaining quotes and ensuring compliance with site requirements.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within SLAs, with accurate updates provided.
- Act as a point of contact for shift handovers and communicate effectively with the Estates team.
- Escort subcontractors on-site and manage materials procurement.
- Adhere to safety systems, risk assessments, and method statements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completed full Apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
- C&G Level 3 qualification (Mechanical or Electrical).
- CSCS or relevant Trade Card.
- Strong understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Previous healthcare or HTM experience is desirable.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Up to £25 per hourMMP is currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Carpenter to join a Social Housing contractor based in South and North London on a temporary to permanent basis, offering £25.89 p/h Umbrella Van & Fuel Card
The successful Trades Operative will be required too:- Complete repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties as well as associated works

Pay Rate:- £25.89ph (Umbrella)
Hours:- 39 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
Qualifications Required:- Recognised trade qualification i.e. City and Guilds/ NVQ (certificate must be available to provide)
