MMP Consultancy is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational management for a University based in West London. This is a permanent position paying £62,400 - £68,640 per annum to start as soon as possible.

Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience in senior-level facilities management.
* Proven leadership skills, particularly in uniting diverse teams and priorities.
* Strong financial management of operational and capital budgets.
* Expertise in project management with experience delivering high-value developments.
* Knowledge of building services, M&E, and hard services.
* NEBOSH qualification is required; RICS/MIWFM certification is a strong advantage.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
* Experience managing sustainability initiatives.
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Catering Assistant

Up to £12 per hour

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a school in Croydon on a permanent, part-time basis. This role offers the perfect opportunity for those seeking a term-time only position, giving you the school holidays off.

Candidates will be responsible for light catering responsibilities, such as delivering of food (not preparation), and cleaning the kitchen and dishes.

Key Details:
* Hours: 10am - 2pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
* Term-Time Only: Work 39 weeks per year, but paid for 44 weeks, over a 12 month period.
* Rate of Pay: £12 per hour (paid monthly, PAYE)

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit Resident Liaison Officers to work for a National Contractor on an Ongoing Basis, based in South East London.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of works programmes. Working closely with Contract Managers you will assist in resident consultation and involvement.

Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the management of resident consultation and involvement in planned works programmes, minimising disruption to residents whilst helping to ensure that the programme does not fall behind schedule and costs remain within budget
* Developing and delivering effective communication with residents, liaising closely with contractor staff to assist in the smooth running of the programmes and the ongoing building management
* Contribution to community engagement plans and initiatives to counter joblessness and financial exclusion

Ideal Candidate:
* Present previous experience of working within Social Housing or Local Authority
* Resident Liaison/Community Engagement capacity
* Experience of supporting planned works programmes
* Experience of handling challenging and complex situations

MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a housing association based out of Southwest London.

This will be a temporary position paying £35 P/H Umbrella on a 6-9 Month contract.

Job Purpose:

  • The Stock condition surveyor will carry out validation inspections of properties that have been included in my clients stock condition survey programme and asses the accuracy of information such remaining life of key components e.g. kitchens and bathrooms.

The Role:

  • Carry out joint surveys with the Consultant's Surveyors to develop a consistent approach to assessing the condition of my clients stock.

  • Carry out HHSRS inspections and demonstrate an understanding of assessing the categories of risk.

  • Carry out stock condition surveys independently and upload results on my clients database.

  • Carry out adhoc surveys of properties as required and prepare reports with diagnosis of defect cause and recommend remedial action.

  • Prepare specifications/scope of works for small projects up to an estimated value of £100k that may include, but not limited to, damp & mold, building repairs, window renewals and security works.

  • Ensure projects meet all CDM and Health & Safety requirements from conception to completion.

  • Act as Contract Administrator to manage construction contractors with regards to performance, quality and cost.

  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the requirements of applications of Statutory Authorities.

  • Instruct and liaise consultants as necessary on more complex schemes.

  • Use technical knowledge and ability to assist the Asset Lead, Programme Manager and Sustainability Manager as required

  • Carry stock condition surveys and work with the existing consultants to promote consistency in the approach to collecting data.

  • Carry out property surveys as required and prepare reports recommending remedial action.

  • Prepare specifications of work for schemes.

We are recruiting for a Temporary Accommodation Procurement Manager to work with a Local Authority client in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team within the Allocations & Lettings department, managing procurement and the delivery of temporary accommodation services.

Role Purpose:

  • Oversee the procurement and management of temporary accommodation, ensuring properties meet legal, health & safety standards.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with property providers and stakeholders to secure and renew suitable accommodation.
  • Manage voids, repairs, and landlord liaison, ensuring timely lettings and tenancy management.
  • Lead on contract management, ensuring supplier compliance, cost-efficiency, and rigorous performance monitoring.
  • Work with internal teams to address homelessness and move clients into permanent or alternative housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of temporary accommodation across a range of property types, ensuring compliance with legislation and council standards.
  • Monitor contracts with suppliers, including negotiating leases, handling renewals, and ensuring effective property maintenance.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and minimising expenditure on temporary housing.
  • Support innovative initiatives to increase affordable housing supply and manage 'move-on' programs to reduce reliance on temporary accommodation.
  • Liaise with landlords and the Council's anti-fraud team to prevent fraudulent activity within the temporary accommodation sector.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in temporary accommodation procurement and management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a housing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of housing law, particularly around homelessness, tenancy management, and landlord-tenant legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including property providers, legal teams, and council members.
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
