Job Description
MMP is currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Carpenter to join a Social Housing contractor based in South and North London on a temporary to permanent basis, offering £25.89 p/h Umbrella Van & Fuel Card
The successful Trades Operative will be required too:
- Complete repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties as well as associated works
- Be customer focused
- Work towards tight deadlines
- Have social housing experience
Pay Rate:
- £25.89ph (Umbrella)
Hours:
- 39 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
Qualifications Required:
- Recognised trade qualification i.e. City and Guilds/ NVQ (certificate must be available to provide)
- Asbestos Awareness (may be completed anytime prior to start date)
- Basic DBS Check
You will be supplied with:
- A van (Full UK Manual Driving License Required, maximum 6 points)
- Fuel card
- PDA System

Primary Job Function:
To deal with repair issue cases referred to them, diagnose the cause, and arrange for works to be carried out.
This will include the assessment of condensation cases and drafting reports for presentation to the High-
Value Repair Panel
Role Duties:
* Carry out building inspections as necessary to diagnose the cause of building defects, and raise work
orders using the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates or specifications as appropriate.
* To prepare reports relating to condensation in compliance with the Condensation Protocol.
* To assist in preparing reports for senior managers, including those of a policy or strategic nature.
* To produce professional technical reports and present them to the High-Value Repair Panel.
* To manage subsidence and structural failure cases with specialist external consultants.
* To assess alteration requests from tenants and leaseholders and complete paperwork in compliance
with the process.
* To manage fire, flood, or collision Insurance cases.
* To assist the Legal Disrepair and Diagnostics Manager in the development of policies and procedures
relating to the Repairs Service.

Electrician
Exciting opportunities have arisen for Electrician's to work for a contractor based in London on a permanent basis. My client is looking for candidates who have experience completing similar domestic electrical works including testing and inspection. The works completed will be across Hertfordshire. The salary will be between £38,000 - £43,000 - dependent on experience. The location of works will be based on your home address as they have contracts across London and the home counties.
Electrician duties include:
* Testing and updates to social housing properties and communal areas
* Maintenance including changing light fittings, switches, sockets etc.
The successful Electrician will be supplied with:
* A van/ van allowance

Pay Rate:- Bulk Driver - £15.00ph (umbrella rate)
Working Hours -- Monday to Friday (36 hours per week)

- Drive company vehicle (unable to take home)
