MMP Consultancy is seeking a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a college based in Oxford. The position is permanent with a salary range of £28,759 - £33,966 per annum which will be pro-rata based on 17.5 hours (0.5 FTE).

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure effective management of Health & Safety and Fire Safety within the College
* Report to the Director of Accommodation, Catering and Conferences
* Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Significant experience in a similar role
* Sound understanding of Health and Safety, including Fire and Risk Management
* Experience in a higher education or collegiate environment
* Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Problem-solving abilities and capability to work under pressure

Desirable Qualifications:
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

    MMP Consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a Private Developer to be based in Oxfordshire. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £80,000 - £85,000 with a 10% bonus scheme plus a £6,900 car allowance.

    The objective of this role is to manage cash flow and maximise profitability by analysing work packages and the building process. The role involves controlling costs, reporting financial projections, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and other company procedures.

    Responsibilities:
    * Collaborate with Production and Technical Leads to identify risks and manage program scope.
    * Attend design meetings, clear actions on time, and provide input on potential cost savings.
    * Produce and monitor contract sums and cash flow, ensuring a positive cash position and achieving a minimum 10% overvalue.
    * Prepare valuations, secure timely payments, and manage subcontractor payments in line with agreements.
    * Ensure accurate, timely production of cost reports (CVCs) and project outturn cost sheets.
    * Manage final accounts with subcontractors and clients, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

    Key Requirements:
    * Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction (HND/HNC, degree level).
    * Experience in Contract/Quantity Surveying, with a solid commercial background in construction.
    * Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, H&S, and compliance.
    * Excellent numerical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
    * Proficiency in managing mixed-tenure schemes, subcontractor orders, and final accounts.
