Job Description

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer in Sutton. This will be on a temporary ongoing role, working as part of the Planned Works team.

Pay Rate: £29.16 Per Hour

Please note this position will require you to have a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle!

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively liaise between residents and contractors to ensure that resident requirements are met and any issues are promptly and suitably addressed.
  • Providing support to any vulnerable residents, you will work with carers and other relevant advocates to ensure that specific needs are taken account of and any issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, facilitate communications and coordinate activities to streamline operations, public communications, incident response and conflict resolution.
  • Deliver effective resident consultation and engagement, providing assurances at all levels that our buildings are compliant to all legislative requirements.
  • Developing and delivering effective communication with residents, liaising closely with contractor staff to assist in the smooth running of the programmes and the ongoing building management


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of working as a Resident Liaison Officer or Coordinator
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience of delivering excellent customer care
  • Experience of handling challenging and complex situations
  • An effective communicator at all levels, you will be able to work proactively and independently to deliver on tight timescales

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Technical Officer on a Temporary basis for a Local Authority based in West London.

Umbrella Rate: £27.70 Per Hour


Duties:

  • Provide support for all administration matters related to relevant service area and undertake general and specific administrative duties aligned to the service area and any other duties which could reasonably fall within the role.
  • Take responsibility for and technically support a large and varied workload within Capital Delivery Team.
  • Respond personally to requests for technical advice relating to capital delivery projects and ensuring all necessary statutory provisions are correctly and competently executed and cases are brought to a satisfactory and timely conclusion.
  • Provide assistance to and cover for colleagues as required.
  • Provide technical support that ensures compliance within the defined specifications, across the capital delivery work programme.
  • Use of other IT systems including where required scanning and photocopying of documents.
  • Electronic and manual filing and document management in respect of the service area to ensure records maintained in accordance with statutory guidance.
  • Assist with the Estate Housing response to emergency incidents.
  • Through consultation with line manager and in accordance with the Constitution and operational protocols, in connection with businesses undertakings and other activities falling within scope of authorisation, determine need for, sign, serve, monitor, and enforce notices (i.e., Party Wall Notices) as appropriate.
  • Provide advice and education to the public, peers, and business community in connection with health matters.
  • Provide technical support during the scoping, installation, commissioning, and handover phases to ensure the client requirements are fully met.
  • Provide technical support for effective problem solving and troubleshooting complex problems.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner to work on a temporary contract based in Essex.

Duties:

Liaise with customers, arrange appointments, maintain relevant up to date progress on work being undertaken and dispatch information on completion of work
Liaise with the client to ensure that data is maintained, and to assist with queries
Schedule and allocate work to operational staff to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain all records in accordance with business requirements and management instructions for the purpose of invoicing and KPI reporting
Procurement of materials and services to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness
Provide up to date and accurate information on all work completed for the purpose of invoicing including clear reasons for all charges, charging rates and quantities of work completed by which operatives.

Experience Required:

Previous experience of working with a Housing Association / Local Authority or Maintenance Contractor in either a Scheduling or Customer Service capacity

Excellent communicator, with strong organisational skills CSEs at Grade C or above and including Mathematics and English
Proficient IT skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Word Proven background in a customer service focused environment
Construction related knowledge

Carpenter

£36000.00 - £38000.00 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Trade Operatives (Carpenter/ Plumber/ Multi Trade Operative/ Plasterer) to work for a Social Housing Contractor based in South East London on a permanent basis offering a salary of £34,000 - £38,000. The successful Trades Operatives will be able to work in occupied properties carrying out reactive repairs.

Location:
* South East London (Lewisham and Southwark)

Working hours
* 08:00am to 17:00pm
* Up to 7 Jobs per Day

You will be required to:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, occupied.
* Provide your own basic hand and power tools.
* Optional out of hours.
* Have experience working within social housing properties.

You will be supplied with:
* Company van
* Fuel card

You must:
* Have use of a smartphone. Jobs will be supplied via an App, BYOD paid at £20.00 a month.
* Have your own Tools

My client is looking for a Trades Supervisor on a permanent basis offering a salary of £40,000 - £42,000 Van and Annual Bonus. The successful Trades Supervisor will be required to have experience working within a repairs and maintenance environment and be able to supervise a team of operatives.
