Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Temporary - 2 months)
Working Hours: 4-on 4-off, 40 hours per week
Pay: Standard £19 Sat/Nights £23 Sun £29
Duration: 2 months subject to extension

Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Electrician on a temporary basis, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems. Your tasks will include emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, and plant inspections. Additionally, you will be involved in reporting issues and following up on necessary works. Reactive tasks will involve addressing lighting and small power remedial works, as well as small-scale electrical installation projects.

Key Duties:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance tasks such as emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, and plant inspections.
Report identified issues and follow up on necessary maintenance or repair works.
Handle reactive tasks, including remedial works for lighting and small power issues.
Participate in small-scale electrical installation projects.

Skills and Qualifications:
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in electrical installation.
Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance and installation work.
Strong understanding of emergency light systems, fire alarms, and plant equipment.
Familiarity with family-related leave applications, ESR, and TRAC processes.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will need a clear DBS.
