Exciting opportunities have arisen for Electrician's to work for a contractor based in London on a permanent basis. My client is looking for candidates who have experience completing similar domestic electrical works including testing and inspection. The works completed will be across South London. The salary will be between £39,000 - £45,000 - dependent on experience. The location of works will be based on your home address as they have contracts across London and the home counties.

Electrician duties include:
* Testing and updates to social housing properties and communal areas
* Maintenance including changing light fittings, switches, sockets etc.

The successful Electrician will be supplied with:
* A van/ van allowance
* PDA
* Fuel card

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Trade Operatives (Carpenter/ Plumber/ Multi Trade Operative/ Plasterer) to work for a Social Housing Contractor based in South East London on a permanent basis offering a salary of £34,000 - £38,000. The successful Trades Operatives will be able to work in occupied properties carrying out reactive repairs.

Location:
* South East London (Lewisham and Southwark)

Working hours
* 08:00am to 17:00pm
* Up to 7 Jobs per Day

You will be required to:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, occupied.
* Provide your own basic hand and power tools.
* Optional out of hours.
* Have experience working within social housing properties.

You will be supplied with:
* Company van
* Fuel card

You must:
* Have use of a smartphone. Jobs will be supplied via an App, BYOD paid at £20.00 a month.
* Have your own Tools

Trades Supervisor

Up to £42000.00 per annum

A great opportunity has arisen for a Trades Supervisor to work for a national contractor working within the South East London area. My client is looking for a Trades Supervisor on a permanent basis offering a salary of £40,000 - £42,000 Van and Annual Bonus. The successful Trades Supervisor will be required to have experience working within a repairs and maintenance environment and be able to supervise a team of operatives.

Pay Rate:

* £40,000 - £42,000 Van & Benefits (Annual Bonus)

The Trades Supervisor will be required to:

* Supervise a team of operatives
* Have knowledge of a Voids and Disrepair environment
* Prioritise and allocate works to optimise available resources
* Have experience of managing a team
* Have experience in the use of SORs, pricing and coding works
* Have health and safety knowledge and experience
* Develop relationships with colleagues and support them with growth targets
* Be responsible for achieving contract excellence
* Ensure a high standard of communication is maintained with the client, customers & colleagues

Electrician

£24 - £25 per hour van fuel card

A great opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a contractor based in Croydon and South London, on a temporary basis, paying £24-£25 p/h Van & Fuel Card.
The successful candidate will be available within short notice and have social housing experience. You must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a company van.

You will be required to:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied
* Carry out electrical repairs EICRs and complete NICEIC Certificates
* Ensure works are completed at a high standard within given time frames
* Carry out works allocated by appointments
* Participate in 24 call out when required

Qualifications:

* City & Guilds and or/ equivalent e.g NVQ
* BS 7617: 18th Edition
* 2391 or 2395

Salary:

Working Hours:

You will be required to:
* Clean, sweep and mop areas

This role involves working alongside a member of staff who will act as both a driver and work leader. You will be responsible for helping clear vacated properties, ensuring items are safely and efficiently moved to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the removal and clearance of furniture, household goods, and other items from vacated properties.
  • Safely lift, carry, and load items onto vehicles.
  • Work under the supervision of the driver/work leader to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Ensure all items are handled with care to avoid damage during the removal process.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
  • No prior experience necessary, though previous experience in removals or manual labour is an advantage.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.
