The successful candidate will be available within short notice and have social housing experience. You must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a company van.

Multi Trade Operative

Up to £20 per hour

MMP is currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative to join a Social Housing contractor based in London on a temporary basis paying £20 per hour CIS.

The successful Trades Operative will be required too:

  • Complete repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties as well as associated works
  • Be customer focused
  • Work towards tight deadlines
  • Have social housing experience

Pay Rate:

  • £20.00ph (CIS or umbrella rate)

Hours:

  • 42.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri) 8am - 17:00pm with an half hour break

Qualifications Required:

  • Recognised trade qualification i.e. City and Guilds/ NVQ (certificate must be available to provide)
  • Asbestos Awareness (may be completed anytime prior to start date)
  • Basic DBS Check

You will be supplied with:

  • A van (Full UK Manual Driving License Required, maximum 6 points)
  • Fuel card
  • PDA System

Repairs Supervisor

Up to £24.00 per hour


A great new opportunity has arisen for a Repairs Supervisor to join a social housing contractor on a temporary ongoing basis based in London. You will be required to supervise a team of trade operatives and subcontractors.

Hours Per Week:

  • Mon to Fri - 42.5

Pay Rate:

  • £24ph (CIS or Umbrella)

The successful candidate will:

  • Mentor and supervise a trades team
  • Develop relationships with colleagues and support them with growth targets
  • Be responsible for achieving contract excellence
  • Ensure a high standard of communication is maintained with the client, customers & colleagues

Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Basic DBS

Gas Engineer

Up to £31 per hour

- Service and repair domestic gas appliances, including gas boilers and fires

A great new opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manager to join a main social housing contractor on a permanent basis based in Oldbury, West Midlands area.

The permanent salary is from £60,000 - £70,000 per annum Benefits. You will be required to Manage and oversee Supervisors and a team of trade operatives and subcontractors whilst working closely with the Senior Management team.

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Operative to help keep properties safe, functional, and welcoming. You'll carry out day-to-day repairs, support larger maintenance projects, and ensure a high standard of service across all sites.



Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily maintenance inspections and minor repairs
  • Support external contractors on complex repairs and void works
  • Monitor contractor performance and report issues
  • Order and collect materials as needed

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead a Voids team, overseeing property repairs and refurbishments for unoccupied homes. You'll manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring high performance, compliance, and excellent service delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise repairs and voids works, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Drive team performance and meet operational KPIs
  • Maintain accurate job records using PDA and Accuserve systems
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client reps
  • Contribute to out-of-hours call rota if required
  • Understand and apply NHF Schedule of Rates


About You

  • Experience in repairs/voids, ideally within social housing
  • Strong technical knowledge and supervisory experience
  • Confident using MS Office and housing maintenance systems
  • Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
