Job Description

A great new opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manager to join a main social housing contractor on a permanent basis based in Oldbury, West Midlands area.

The permanent salary is from £60,000 - £70,000 per annum Benefits. You will be required to Manage and oversee Supervisors and a team of trade operatives and subcontractors whilst working closely with the Senior Management team.

The successful candidate will:
* Manage and support work stream managers and supervisors for residential services in the strategic contract management of contracts across residential services for repairs.
* Working closely with Management and support team you will be a key influencer in decision making.
* As a natural leader you will develop relationships with colleagues and mentor them in growing their skills in support of growth targets.
* Lead as a key influencer the Companies Values and strategic objectives.
* Mentor and support internal and external Customers in support of business growth.
* Responsible for achieving Contract Excellence in all areas (H&S, performance, productivity, budgetary)

Multi Trade Plumber

Up to £38000.00 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Trade Plumber to work for a Social Housing Contractor based in London on a permanent basis offering a salary of £38,000 per annum. The successful Trades Operatives will be able to work in occupied properties carrying out reactive repairs.

Locations Available:
* South East & South West London
Or
* West London

Working hours
* 08:00am to 17:00pm
* Up to 7 Jobs per Day

You will be required to:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, occupied.
* Provide your own basic hand and power tools.
* Optional out of hours.
* Have experience working within social housing properties.

You will be supplied with:
* Company van
* Fuel card

You must:
* Have use of a smartphone. Jobs will be supplied via an App, BYOD paid at £20.00 a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance in occupied homes

  • Carpentry (primary trade)

Requirements:

About the Role

  • Complete daily maintenance inspections and minor repairs
  • Support external contractors on complex repairs and void works

I'm looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor to lead a Voids team, overseeing property repairs and refurbishments for unoccupied homes. You'll manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring high performance, compliance, and excellent service delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise repairs and voids works, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Drive team performance and meet operational KPIs
  • Maintain accurate job records using PDA and Accuserve systems
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client reps
  • Contribute to out-of-hours call rota if required
  • Understand and apply NHF Schedule of Rates


About You

  • Experience in repairs/voids, ideally within social housing
  • Strong technical knowledge and supervisory experience
  • Confident using MS Office and housing maintenance systems
  • Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
