The Financial Transaction Manager will be a strong manager who can lead a team indelivering a high quality, efficient and effective accounts payable, accountreceivable and cashbook services. You will be able to tackle obstacles and makedecisions on your own and develop and empower your staff to do the same.

 

Responsibilities:

TheFinancial Transaction Manager will take ownership of specific projects anddevelop a framework of continuous improvement and maximise the benefits ofinformation technology to support thework of the team adopting simple and efficient systems for accounts payable andreceivable processes.

Develop,implement and monitor tactical and strategic plans to improve the overall effectivenessof the service

Developpolicies, procedures and controls which adhere to legislation, regulation orcontractual obligations

Lead on specificprojects which improve efficiency and effectiveness on the service

Lead andmanage a team of Transaction Officers and Administrators, providing strongsupport, training and development

Write reports,briefings and presentations, providing all statistical records and management/performancedata as required

Full ownershipof KPI’s relating to financial transaction service and develop plans to driveimprovement in performance

Reviewinternal processes and procedures for improvements and processing efficiency

 

SkillsRequired:

Understanding of accounts payable, receivable and cashbookfunctions

Experience of working with SUN systems and Proactis 
Explore and systemise all functions in order toimprove performance. 
Intermediate – Advanced Excel skills and fullunderstanding of double entry to trial balance
Related degree or other professional accreditationincluding AAT or part qualified ACCA / CIMA
